Episode 1: Mirror Universes
Mirror Universes. What are they, where do they come from, what is the point of this whole thing? In this first blog post, I’m going to describe the above and hopefully you will get some insight into your emotions, some guidance with how to find balance and form a different perspective on our world. I’m then going to shut up. Because there's nothing worse than a depressive like me going on all of the time. Mirror Universes. The popular concept originally came from Star Trek, and has been used in many forms of stories in the series, from comics to books to the tv shows and spin-offs. Marvel are entering into it with the multiverse. We've just had Spider-Man, and we are soon to have Doctor Strange. Doctor Who also got in on the act, but that can be more timey-wimey than multi-mirror. The idea was actually first theorised in Ancient Greece, who considered that a multiverse was created by colliding atoms. This was called Atomism. The concept became more defined in the Middle Ages...
